Opening An Account – Things To Bear In Mind

The processes of opening an account with any bookmaker are identical.

It is important to fill in the registration form accurately, making sure your details are exactly copied from your ID card so as to avoid discrepancies at the verification stage.

When you open an account, ensure that the currency you select with the bookmaker matches the one of your debit card.
Moreover, think about the e-mail you are registering with.

If you would like to use Skrill, your primary e-mail there should be the same as the one you use with the bookmaker.

Alternatively, you could have several e-mails in Skrill and then select a primary one through settings=>personal info. More about Skrill can be found here.

Account Verification

Following registration, you will have to verify your account. To do so, you need to verify your identity, your residence and ownership of the debit card you used for your first deposit.

The bookmaker requires that you send them copies of the following documents:

  • ID card: front and back
  • Debit card (if you scan the back of the card, obscure the CVC code)
  • Bank statement (if you use online banking, you can log in and take a screenshot)
  • Utility bill not older than 3 months from the date of registration

You may not have to do anything until you request a withdrawal for the first time. It will be then that the bookie will ask you to go through the above procedure so if you are not prepared, it might get a bit annoying.

Also, keep in mind that after you have sent the documents in, there is a certain amount of processing time before your account is verified and the withdrawal is approved.

To avoid any further delays, contact Support and learn about all the requirements so as to fulfill them at the start.
Every time you disclose personal data, check if you can upload the documents directly onto the bookmaker’s site before you resort to your e-mail.

If using e-mail, remember to delete the message from Sent. Believe me, you don’t want your personal data in your mailbox …
